Severe Weather Ground Contact pressure treated exterior wood protected with Copper Azole (CA-C) provides lasting support and protection for all-purpose applications. Suitable for burial or contact with the ground and fresh water immersion applications. Ground Contact treatments are not suitable for direct contact with aluminum or un-coated metal products. Treatment meets American Wood Protection Association (AWPA) standards and is building code compliant (IRC and IBC). For optimal performance of paint and stain coatings, allow the wood to dry after installation, and apply a UV protective finish to enhance the long-term beauty. Use building code approved fasteners and hardware: Hot-dipped galvanized or stainless-steel is recommended.
